I’m a clinical herbalist, environmental educator, and momma on a mission to inspire a movement where there’s an herbalist in every home… AGAIN!
Really, my biggest secret mission is to save the planet, and this is the only way I know how to do it!
Actually, I got my start in herbal medicine when I was a backpacking guide and wilderness therapist. I got so sick of people paying me hundreds of dollars to walk them to the most beautiful and sacred spaces, with their first aid kits filled with toxic nasty junk. It really chapped my hide! Not only were these products bad for their body, they were bad for our planet too!
That's when I started to recognize that the very plants that could heal them even better, were right along our footprints on the trail. That's when I knew I had to create a natural first aid kit to get into the camping gear, and outdoor adventure seekers everywhere. Fast forward a ton of education, mistakes, and determination, I did it! I got my natural first aid kit into REI of all places!
Now, after spending over 12 years running my own herbal product line, I spent my time teaching others how to craft their own herbal medicines!
