Something I wanted to share. On the right is what's left of an Ashwaganda tincture I made right as I started Apothecary Mama. The one on the left is one I made after I learned more from Mel and also joined Medicine Makin Mamas. Notice the difference? I essentially did the folk method with the first. The second I measured the herb and menstrum and used the right ratio and alcohol percentage. Seems as though much more medicine was extracted into this one just by looking  at the color!! The smell is different too. Less “boozy” smell and you can smell more of the Ashwaganda!  -Sarah S.-
