Are you ready for a game-changing discussion on alternative healing? Check out this podcast episode, where I team up with Dr. Maya, a distinguished pediatric neurologist, accomplished author, and advocate for holistic well-being. Together, we discuss plant medicine, neuroplasticity, and the connection between the mind, body, and natural world and of course, how this applies to our children.

Dr. Maya isn't your run-of-the-mill expert; she's a powerhouse in the realm of herbalism. In this episode, she shared invaluable insights on neuroplasticity, the mind-bending concept of quantum dosing, and the transformative power of vibrational master plant products.

Our conversation delves into the ancient wisdom of herbal remedies, which are currently undergoing a resurgence in our modern world. Dr. Maya emphasized how these age-old practices can serve as a foundational element for holistic healing.

But here's where it gets truly magical: Quantum Drops.

Dr. Maya introduced us to these unique master plant products, made through a sacred process involving the plant, water, and ceremonial elements.  These can either be ingested or used to tap into a plant's healing vibes.  Yes, you read that correctly – healing can happen through a vibrational connection with a plant!  It's a “quantum leap” in our understanding of plant-based healing!

We also discussed the realm of psychedelics, a potent tool for insight and transformation, yet one that demands thoughtful consideration. Dr. Maya offered invaluable insights into their potential impact on the mental health of teenagers and the importance of striking a balance between exploring their positive aspects while safeguarding the well-being of young minds. We also touched on the gut-brain connection, which is a cornerstone of holistic healing. Dr. Maya connected the dots between our microbiomes, mitochondria, and the necessary harmony between our health and the living world around us.

Children have an intuitive connection to plants & healing.

Of course we talked a ton about plants, and having a deep connection to them.  And how out children can often have a deep intuitive wisdom along with that connection to the plants. It served as a reminder that our relationship with plants, for every one of us begins early in life and can lay the foundation for a lifetime of herbal health and healing.

In her book "The Dirt Cure," Dr. Maya paints a vivid picture of the link between our health and the environment, advocating for exposure to various microorganisms.  This is especially important in building a strong immune system and involves interacting with many different types of tiny living beings.

This episode contains so much healing wisdom, including the connection between neuroplasticity, quantum dosing, and the healing energy of plants.   If you would like to learn more about Dr. Maya, check out her website or connect with her on Instagram at  @drmayashetreat.
