Thrilled to introduce today's herb lovin’ momma, Chris Alstat of Eclectic Herbs in Sandy, Oregon! Our paths crossed through the herbal and naturopathic community several years back, and it just so happens the farm is just down the road from me. Anyway, Chris is a brilliant, beautiful woman who wears many hats—owner, naturopathic physician, mother, teacher, healer, and a compassionate business powerhouse.

Chris shared her journey into naturopathic and herbal medicine, her passion for using food and plant medicine to make our entire planet a healthier place. And even shared a love story between her and her late husband Dr. Ed Alstat. I always LOVE a good love story!

COVID pressed pause, but Chris dreams of reviving these camps, especially the garden-to-table cooking camp.

Teach kids early about food origins. Even with limited space, a windowsill garden works wonders. Nurturing life forms early is a beautiful thing—kids relish being part of the growing process. Take them outdoors, point out plants, and watch them connect with the amazing world around them.
